Well, I hope you all had a lovely Easter weekend. We attended church on Saturday night to free up our seats for visitors at the Sunday morning service. So, on Sunday I got to sleep in and finish up preparing a nice dinner for my hubby, sister and I. Holidays are always small and quiet for us here in St. Louis. Sometimes it makes me sad, as I hold family near and dear -- but I know that it's all a part of growing up. Boooo!
Sooo, remember a few posts back when I mentioned feeling like I was dollar short and day late on some of my holiday posts? Well, here we are again {giggle}. Over the weekend I wondered how terrible it would be to post my Easter dinner table after the fact. I posted the question on FB and Jenna from SAS Interiors mentioned posting the year before. UGH! Why didn't I think of that? Oh well..... it's too late now. What's hysterical is that I didn't post last years Easter tablescape either. Just for kicks, here's a quick peek at what I did last year -- I went a little more formal. It was sophisticated and sweet with light pastels. We also sat in the formal dining room. Oooh!
This year, my tablescape has a sweet eclectic twist of Spring to it -- and we sat in the Breakfast Room. No formal dining room this year. I honestly didn't know what I was doing until this past week -- a trip to World Market helped me pick the colors, but the fabric flower bouquet didn't come into the picture until Saturday. Nothing like a last minute project, right? However, I fell in {love} with this table quickly!

Minus the eggs, it's perfectly Spring. Wouldn't you agree?
I will definitely be using these pieces for other gatherings this Spring.
The pictures below my sister, Kristine (of KLP), took for me.
She captured the table and some of the pieces beautifully. Hugs, sis!
