Meet Kimberly of That's What I Have to Say About That

My blog is a place where I share my thoughts about my day to day life. I enjoy reading (and writing) about everyday things and I really like it if it's funny or a little ironic. One of the blogs I follow has a sub-title that says: "Come for the Optimism, Stay for the Sarcasm". I did NOT come up with that, but so wish I did. I try to see the funny or happy things in most things. I stay away from politics and heavy topics in my blog -- I just want to share a laugh or an "Awwww" moment.

I'm married to my college sweetheart. We got married on April Fools Day. --We did that because it was two years to the day of our "first date". Plus, we both thought it was funny/fun. We always say we are fools in love.

Hubby studied photography (I'm so proud of him. He has a BFA in design and photography). After many years together, I now consider myself a photographer. Hubby is a tough critic (teacher), so when he tells me a shot is good, I know it's good. :) He makes me work for it.

I love funny TV shows and some drama (The Good Wife). I love cookies and cake. LOVE. I gave up Diet Cokes one year ago (April). I never thought I would. I loved that stuff.

I'm from the Southeast (NC), though until 2 years ago we were living in the Seattle, WA area for 7 years. LOVED it. Family is a very important and rewarding piece of my life. We now live in the same town with both my sisters and my Dad and Mamacita. Our daughter & her husband live here too. So many more chances to "drop by" when you live so close. We haven't lived in the same town as family in forever (since high school). So this is a nice change for us and our dog,  Jacob.
