Getting to know little ole' {me}

I was tagged by Jen and Katie over at Paisley Print Shoes.  I'll be honest, I don't always take part in these types of activities, but this time I thought I'd jump in and look at this as an opportunity for YOU become a little better acquainted with ME.   So, here's a few tid-bits about little ole' me.  

What is your favorite meal?  

That is an extremely difficult question to answer, as I simply {love} food.  A home cooked meal would be my moms Chicken Broccoli Bake with Herbed Spaghetti.  It's to die for and if we lived closer, I think I'd request it once a week.   Love and miss you, Mom!  My favorite meal if we dine out would be Chicken 'n Dumplins at Cracker Barrel.  Those biscuits aren't too shabby either!

You can only listen to {3} albums for the rest of your life, what would they be & why?

Man, another tough one.  Michael Buble "Crazy Love", Sister Hazel "Chasing Daylight", Adele "21", Phillips Craig and Dean "Let My Words Be Few".  Oh wait, that's four...  Oh well.  I could probably add ten more.  {giggle}  These cd's make me happy, feel light hearted and sing out loud.  If I could put them all on one cd, could I have two more?  HA! 

What is your favorite item in your closet? 

Hmmm.  I really have so many favorites.  I love my purses, scarves, shoes and the thrill of throwing an outfit together.  A closet filled with goodies is a girls best friend {wink}.  I simply can't say any one thing is my favorite.

When is the last time you cried?

Last week when I read all of the comments on my Not Quite Yet post.  I was moved by the support of my readers.  If I had to be completely honest, I cry more than you'd think... I think its healthy!

What is your favorite tv show of all time?
Dexter.  I know it's crazy, but he is the most likeable serial killer out there.  I {heart} Dexter!!

What is your favorite movie? 

Ugh.  Hmmm.  Let's see.  You've Got Mail has always been a favorite.  It's one of those movies that's just so cute you can't help but watch it over and over again.  

What would your dream vacation destination be?
Bora Bora.  Seriously, what isn't there to dream about when you see these types of pictures?

Describe your personality in three words (I let my hubby answer this one).

Effervescent.  Determined. Compassionate. 

What is the one make-up item you absolutely have to have on your face every day?

I love my Soft Lips in Pearl {perfectly tinted and makes my lip pop}.

Dream dinner party guest list! (Three people, living or dead) 

Apostle Paul -- I think he was an incredible man.  My Grandpa Kuert and Granda Forkey.  Both passed before I was old enough to get to know them.  From what I know, they were pretty incredible men.

Why did you start blogging?
I started blogging in 2010 simply to keep my family and friends in the loop of our life here in Saint Louis and our hopes of starting a family.  All of my family in on the East Coast.  Boo!  It wasn't until January of 2012 that I knew I wanted to take my blog to an entirely new level.  Here we are!  What an incredible ride this has been -- and I {heart} this bloggy community!
