Wreath Pinspiration

I  have wanted to make this wreath for awhile, I even had the supplies lying in wait.
Guess what motivated me to FINALLY make it?

Sooo, here we are.
Where did I get my inspiration from?
This gorgeous front porch styling.

Alrighty, let's grab some supplies.
One 18" Grapevine Wreath $4.99, Three bags of Floral Moss $1.00/each at the Dollar Store (pictured above is Spanish Moss), Glue Gun and Spray Adhesive $3.99, Frame and Ribbon.

I started by hot glueing the first layer of Floral Moss to the grapevine wreath.  Every so often I would lift the wreath and shake off any access. I'll admit that I had intended to hot glue the entire wreath, but decided to add to the second layer with Spray Adhesive.  It covered more area and kept some of the smaller (messier) pieces in place much better.

This might be a good time to mention that, as you can see, this is a very messy project {smile}.
After a few more shakes (outdoors), you're ready to accessorize.
With the addition of an organic bloom frame and a bow with some wired ribbon ---Voila!

And one last visual of the 'pinspiration' versus my wreath.
What do you think?  I'm extremely pleased.

UPDATE:  March 30th, 2012.  Winners have been announced {here}.  I'm the third place winner!

I'll be partying up {here}.
A little extra partying {here} and {here} too.  Cheers!

I don't know how I missed this earlier (maybe Google Reader is acting funny or maybe I scrolled too quickly). Caught it at TT&J though. This is gorgeous, and I'm so tempted to make one this weekend.
